This Mary Frances handbag is truly a work of art inspired by the history of fashion. Reminiscent of fine handbags carried by women in the early to mid 1900's, it is filled with vintage charm in embroidery, beads, crystals, and fuller fabrics. Embroidery and jewels have adorned the handbag since its history - dating back to 14th century Egypt! Handbags were often used as status symbols with the more elaborately decorated the handbag, the wealthier the carrier. Late Bloomer is composed of black silkened fabric embroidered with floral patterns and colors, and doused with rich burnt orange, dusty green, pink & beige, all hanging on a antique finish brass frame charmed with a crystal clasp.
This Mary Frances handbag is also very spacious and provides ample room for everyday use. Late Bloomer can be used with it's clutch handle alone or with it's long beaded strap.
