Born out of the decorative moment of the 1920's & 1930's from Paris and transmitted across the world to combine fantastic design from the West and the Orient, this movement has inspired many a trend in furniture, jewelry, architecture, clothing, etc. Now it inspires Mary Frances handbags. This beautiful piece is very geometric and clean in shape and symmetry, yet combines fantastically ornate patterns in fabric seen initially in places like India. Beautiful black beads cover the shell of this bag and its handle. Gorgeous brocade fabric in gold and rose plum creates a backdrop for a stunning centerpiece made of lovely stones and metals that are literally CROWNED with the flair of a headdress resembling a Thai queen.
